Has Hell Frozen Over?

Last night, Matt and I sat down and "rolled up" a character for me on EverQuest2. We played for a little last night and on my lunch today. I'm at level 5. Anyone who knows me knows what a potential disaster this is!! Guaranteed it's only my first couple of times playing the game, and I'm still on the "isle" where you initially train. I'll have to geek out even more and post a screen shot of my character sometime. Then again, I'm supposed get the pictures up from the EverQuest Guild convention too. Maybe if Matt lets me have the main computer for a couple hours...

Watch out! Don't you know EverQuest is also called EverCrack? For fun reading, look at this disturbing article on CNET. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I'm aware, unfortunately. We've been calling it EverCrack2 for a long time. On a "positive" note, I have reached level 7.

I'm just a recovering Civ II player. It's been years since the game first came out and I still find myself getting the craving to go build a new civilization. I was bad enough when on a standalone computer, I can't imagine what it's like connected to a whole bunch of other people. In fact, it sounds pretty cool...

No wait, stop. I must resist the temptation...I can't...no....SPLAT!

I don't get the addiction. I quit and uninstalled EQ2 a while ago.

No, that's not it at all. I'm not into gaming that much anymore.
