Of the people I admire and consider role models, Peter Jennings was high on my list when it came to news broadcasting. I was saddened to hear that he has lost his battle with lung cancer. It is suprising to realize that in a very short time, all the major networks have seen their long-time anchors leave, whether by retirement or in this case, death. My thoughts are with Mr. Jenning's family.
